We build libraries to foster education and a love of reading.

In Uganda, before our arrival, reading books for pleasure wasn’t an option. Most schools have one copy of each syllabus book and students learn on hand-copied versions. Our presence changes that.

The Literate Earth Project provides Ugandan children with libraries and the world of possibilities that only books can provide. Literacy is the foundation for learning. No matter the geography, every child deserves to have the reading skills to learn and become whatever they imagine they can be. Books open their eyes to topics they've never considered, worlds they’ve never explored and all the joy books and reading bring. These special libraries instill a love of reading and self-confidence, to help every child learn, grow and thrive.

Join us, and change the life of a child!
