We build libraries to foster education and a love of reading.

In the communities we partner with, before our arrival, reading books for pleasure isn't an option because there simply aren't any. Most schools have one copy of each syllabus book and students learn on hand-copied versions. Our presence changes that. Having access to books opens students' eyes to topics they've never considered and allows them to discover the joy books and reading can bring.

Libraries and books play an important role in solving the puzzle of literacy. See firsthand how we're putting the pieces together and building a better future for students in Uganda.

Once you learn to read, you will be forever free.
